Ranchi, Dec 12: Jharkhand IT secretary Sunil Kr. Burnwal today signed a number of MoUs and MoAs on behalf of the state government with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India, and three industry partners namely, M/s TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), M/s TATA Motors Ltd and M/s Central Coalfield Ltd (CCL) at Shastry Bhawan, New Delhi.
V. S. Oberoi, secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Rajeev Gauba, Jharkhand chief secretary, and R. Subramanium, additional secretary, Ministry of HRD, were present on the occasion.
The meeting before signing the MoUs and MoAs discussed on how to make IIIT Ranchi functional before the next academic session.
It was decided that the first board meeting of the newly established IIIT will be held in the first week of January under the chairmanship of secretary, Department Of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
