Jamshedpur, April 18: More than 24 doctors and other medical staff have been infected while rendering services to COVID positive patients. The doctors include those doing duty in COVID wards at MGM C Hospital, Tata Main Hospital, Brahmanand Narayani Hospital and in various nursing homes. A doctor, nurse and lab technician including three others attending to COVID patients have tested positive. This has led to reduced manpower at the hospital. In order to cope with the emergency conditions, students doing GNM training have been pressed into service at the MGMC Hospital.
