MLA Sukhram Oraon honors Kolhan University topper with gold ring

Chaibasa, July 20: MLA Sukhram Oraon honored Kolhan University’s topper Jabina Parveen by presenting her a gold ring. During the ceremony, Oraon praised Jabina for bringing pride to the city by winning a gold medal. He then invited Jabina’s mother on stage and took off the gold ring he was wearing and gave it to both the mother and daughter. The emotional moment moved the entire hall, as Jabina’s family was passing through difficult times. It was reported that the ring, purchased four months ago, was valued at approximately Rs 45 thousand.
