Jamshedpur, July 20: In a continued effort to promote holistic development, J.H.Tarapore School organized a unique ‘Bagless Day’ on Saturday, July 20, dedicated to Art Integrated Learning (AIL). This teaching model emphasizes learning through and with the arts, moving beyond traditional rote memorization to focus on creative and experiential engagement with academic subjects.

AIL allows students to explore subjects through hands-on and practical activities, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment. By integrating art into the curriculum, the school aimed to enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills.

Students from classes 6 to 12 participated enthusiastically in a variety of activities designed to spark their creativity and innovation.

These included making dolls from socks, creating handmade paper, engaging in clay painting, crafting paper bags, decorating clay pots with Warli art, and producing crafts from recycled material. Each activity was carefully designed to encourage artistic expression and practical problem-solving.

This initiative highlighted the commitment towards providing a well-rounded education that nurtured every aspect of a student’s development.
