Jamshedpur, June 21: JUSCO School South Park celebrated the 12th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm through a week-long series of activities that concluded on June 21. The theme for this year, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” highlighted the role of yoga in promoting lifelong health and well-being.
Students from different classes participated in yoga sessions, meditation exercises, and creative competitions. While younger students learned yoga postures and breathing techniques, Classes VI to VIII took part in poster and collage-making competitions. Senior students attended sessions on stress management and relaxation through yoga.
A special yoga session for teachers and grandparents was also organized in association with Marwari Yuva Manch. Principal Mili Sinha encouraged students to make yoga a part of their daily routine. The programme was coordinated by Ranjeeta Singh and Neha Parveen.
