Jamshedpur, March 29: A group of unidentified persons reportedly abducted a man, one Mohammad Saud, from Gate No 3 of Jamshedpur Civil Court on Tuesday.
Posing as Indore Police, the alleged abductors took Saud forcibly along with them in a car. Several onlookers and Saud’s sister tried to stop the abductors, but failed.
Sources said Saud’s sister is a resident of Pratapgarh in UP. Recently, Saud’s sister had registered a criminal case against the brother of her father-in-law. She had come to the court in connection with the case.
Police started an investigation into the incident. They said they were trying to trace the car used in the alleged abduction.
