Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das declared that Rahul Gandhi cannot force a regime change in India. He stated that democratic power transfers occur through ballots, not violence.
Speaking in Jamshedpur, Das criticized Gandhi’s “vote theft” allegations. He urged the opposition to present concrete evidence to constitutional institutions rather than relying on unproven political slogans.
Das recalled how voters ousted Indira Gandhi’s government through elections. He emphasized that Indian citizens remain the ultimate authority and consistently reject attempts to undermine democratic institutions.
The former governor targeted Congress and Left parties, claiming regime change advocates lack public support. He noted that the Left lost political influence following the 1962 China war.
Das credited Union Home Minister Amit Shah with defeating Naxalism across the nation. He claimed extremist elements previously used political campaigns and social media to advance radical agendas.
He raised concerns about foreign involvement and funding in recent digital campaigns. Das warned that violent movements and militant unrest historically threatened national peace and economic development.
Das demanded transparent electoral processes and reliable voting rolls for all citizens. However, he insisted that parties must resolve electoral disputes through established legal mechanisms.
He recalled previous opposition campaigns like “Chowkidar Chor Hai.” Das asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi successfully overcame those political attacks through patience and strong governance.
Das concluded that Indian democracy relies on public trust and fair elections. He reiterated that citizens change governments through votes, completely rejecting chaos, guns, and anarchy.
