Jamshedpur: The students of Kerala Samajam Model School celebrated Grandparent�s Day in the school premises on Thursday. The event was organized by Class teachers and students of Std 8.
Cultural Programme comprising of dance and bollywood songs was presented. Some games were also organized for the grandparents.
Students were asked to write about the favourite thing of their grandparents. This was then matched with grandparents answers. Also a game named “Jodi Pehchano” was organized.
“Dialogue Lottery” was also played in which the grandparents were asked to recognise the dialogue of Movie and which actor or actress used it.
The children served tea to their grandparents on plates that had palm print of their grandparents along with their own.
The students greeted their grandparents with greeting cards.
The grandparents were overwhelmed by the programme and the sweet gesture shown by their grandchildren. They appreciated this initiative taken by the school.
