Jamshedpur: The Kamal Doots (lotus messengers) of BJP Jugsalai assembly constituency were seen off by the party leaders on Thursday. A plain function was organized in Jugsalai in this connection. Bicycles were given to several Kamal Doots on this occasion.
Addressing the party workers, district BJP general secretary Anil Modi said the party had begun preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. He said the Kamal Doots were nominated with the view to spread public awareness regarding various Central and state government welfare schools. These messengers would visit all panchayats and inform people about the achievements of Narendra Modi and Raghubar Das governments. A hand mike has also been given to all Kamal Doots so that they may speak loudly and clearly to the villagers.
Those present during the programme included Prakash Joshi, Mukesh Thakur, Hannu Jain , Ranjeet Upadhyaya, Aryan Sonkar, Amit Pandey, Shiv Dahal and Govind Sharma.
