Jamshedpur, Jan 30: The JOGGA Inter-School Junior and Senior Girls and Boys Volleyball Championship was held from January 28 to 30, 2026, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. Schools from across the city participated in the three-day tournament, showcasing strong sporting spirit and competitive performances.
The championship was attended by several eminent sports personalities, including senior sports managers, former national and international players, and coaches from various disciplines. Among the guests were Vini Bhagat, Neelam Kumari, Punam Kumari, Renu Bhaduria, Saroj Lakra, Satish Kumar Singh, Kripal Singh, L Nageswar Rao, Ajit Kumar Singh, Vivek Kumar Sharma, Hassan Imam, and JOGGA Vice President Firoz Khan.
In the Junior Boys category, KPS Mango secured first place, followed by Dayanand Public School and KPS Gamharia. In the Senior Boys category, KPS Gamharia emerged champions, with KPS Burmamines finishing second and St Mary’s English School third.
In Junior Girls, KPS Mango claimed the top position, followed by DBMS Kadma and KPS Gamharia. In Senior Girls, KPS Gamharia won the championship, while RKMS secured second place and DAV Bistupur finished third.
The tournament concluded successfully with appreciation for all participants.
