KCC enters e-world with e-mag Dux Vox

Jamshedpur, Oct 9: In today�s competitive world, where information plays an important role, institutions are striving hard to incorporate the best methods in imparting knowledge. Some try to introduce a set of edifying clubs, while others try to equip themselves with up-to-date technology.

 
Keeping up with the trend, Mass Communication Department of Karim City College (KCC) has launched its own full-length online magazine �Dux Vox�, a publication whose aim is to create a “breathing space in a busy world” by getting yourself heard.

 
This e-magazine is an academic endeavour by the students of the Mass Communication department of Karim City College, Jamshedpur. Jharkhand’s First Bilingual Students Online Magazine aims to prepare to prepare the brigade of such professionals who can raise the present standard of journalism.

 
Present on the occasion Managing editor of the magazine Dr. Neha Tiwari said that this new endeavor by the college will provide platform to the youngsters to showcase their talent.

Chief Guest at the event Col. Rafi Shaikh while addressing said that students are the future of the country and they will only change the country as a whole. We should try having as many procedures online as possible so that there is some type of governance in the country.

Chief speaker Professor Jagdish Mishra highlighted the life Mahatma Gandhi and told students to follow his footsteps.

Executive Editor of the magazine is Nida Zakaria while Kartik Kumar Bhagat was awarded as Editor of the month. Designing & technology work is handed by Gourabh Malik & Mirdul while Photo feature expert is Syed Sajid Perwez.

On the occasion Principal of the college Dr. Mohammed Zakaria, faculty, students of Mass communication department and several others were present.
