Karim City College CA and IT Depts welcome freshers, bid adieu to final semester students

Jamshedpur, Oct 9: The Computer Applications and Information Technology Departments of Karim City College jointly organized a programme for welcoming freshers and bidding farewell to the final semester students of the 2020-’23 batch. The programme, organized at the College Auditorium saw the attendance of 300 students and was replenished with a variety of cultural programmes.
Dr Anwar Shahab, the Coordinator of Computer Applications and Information Technology, extended his congratulations and best wishes to the final year students. He also took the opportunity to reminisce about their time on campus, invoking memories from their college journey.
Dr Mohammad Reyaz, the Principal of Karim City College, shared valuable life experiences and words of encouragement with the students.
The students put up various cultural items including a ramp walk. Yash Ojha of Computer Applications Semester VI was crowned ‘Mr Graduation 2023,’ while Ayesha Zareen from Information Technology Semester VI walked away with the ‘Miss Graduation 2023’ title.
The event also featured awards and recognitions for outstanding achievements. Shaista Amber and Adiba Kalim from BCA Sem2, along with Tausif Alam from BSc IT Sem2, were the winners of the Slide Presentation competition. Naghma Mahtab (CA) and Shoubhik Sanigrahi (IT) received the Best Academic Achievement Award for securing the highest percentage in Kolhan University examinations. Vicky Kumar Prasad (IT) and Kaushik Kumar Das (CA) were recognized for their exceptional discipline, and Priyanshu Kumar from Computer Applications and Faizan Akram of Information Technology were lauded for their outstanding placements.
