Jharkhand to bear expense of poor candidates preparing for competitive exam: Hemant 

CM felicitates successful UPSC candidates from Jharkhand 

Ranchi, July 26: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren congratulated the successful candidates from the state in the UPSC civil services exam 2021 at a function in Ranchi on Tuesday.

“The state government would be the charioteer of the aspirants from state who want to prepare for any competitive examinations. Soon the “Mukhyamantri Sarathi” scheme will be started in the state. The purpose of this scheme is that the candidates belonging to all the sections of the state, who are unable to bear the cost of coaching etc. for the preparation of other competitive examinations including UPSC, JPSC, will be helped by the state government  by bearing their expense,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is the first state in the country where scholarship is being provided to the children studying abroad for higher education. In the coming times, the state government will increase this scope for our children to go abroad to study abroad to get higher education in large numbers.

“Our government is continuously working towards improving the level of education in the state. Efforts are being made to bring government schools at par with private schools in the state,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that 26 candidates of the state have got success in UPSC examination 2021 simultaneously. The UPSC result makes it clear that the children of Jharkhand have the courage to move ahead despite limited resources.

The Chief Minister honored all the 26 candidates of Jharkhand who have successful in UPSC Examination and also felicitated and congratulated the families of the successful candidates in the UPSC examination present in the auditorium.

The Chief Minister said that the promising people of Jharkhand are giving their service to every nook and corner of the country. From the Prime Minister’s Office to the various departments of the Union Cabinet, senior officers of Jharkhand are working in many big institutions. The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand’s Netarhat Residential School has given a large number of officers to the country including IAS, IPS and other important posts.

“Certainly, when you go into your field of action, the situations may be challenging, but I believe that you will discharge your responsibility faithfully even in adverse circumstances,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that tourism policy has been started in the state only in the recent past. Our government wants that Jharkhand should be known not only in terms of mineral wealth but also as natural beauty. The Chief Minister said that aspirants from Naxalite affected districts have also succeeded in many services including IAS, IPS and sought suggestion from the candidates for the development of Jharkhand.
