Bidyut meets Gadkari over roads issue in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 26 : Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Varan Mahto met Union transport and highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi today and raised the issue of several important roads in Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency.

He raised the issue of construction of NH under Bharatmala Yojana from NH-33 Pardih Kali Mandir Jamshedpur to Durgapur via Patamda, Katin, Bandwan, Jheili-Mili, Khatra Bankura.

 In this context, the Union Minister said that an order has been given to prepare the feasibility report of this road and after the report is received, further action will be taken on it.

The MP discussed about two roads to be constructed under CIRF fund whose proposals have been sent to the Central Government through the State Government. It includes construction of road from Bhuyansinan to Susni Bhaya Hathi Kheda and the road from Phooldungri NH 33 to Jhanti Jharna via Burudih. In this regard, the Union Minister immediately gave his approval.

MP sought to know the progress report regarding the construction of elevated corridor on NH 33. On this it was told that the  DPR and bid document for the elevated corridor will be forwarded after mandatory norms to NHAI headquarters.
