Jharkhand HC petitioner terms JNAC action directionless 

Jamshedpur, May 13: The petitioner Rakesh Kumar, who filed a public interest litigation in the Jharkhand High Court regarding the building of Jamshedpur, has termed the action being taken by JNAC as directionless.

 Rakesh Kumar has said that JNAC and District Administration is examining the order given by the Chief Justice Jharkhand High Court and the action seems to be directionless.

He has said that in the order, the action taken so far by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee on all illegal buildings, derelict buildings, buildings without parking under the Jamshedpur Notified Area built from the year 2011-2023 and the complete status file of the above buildings. It has been asked to give along with the affidavit.

He has told that such action should be taken in the light of the above order.

The petitioner has said that in the light of the order, a report should be made on the actual status of illegal or deviation or parking in the buildings on the map passed according to the tenure of the officers posted in the year 2011-2023 and on the notices of deviation or illegal construction sent by them.

It has also demanded that how many buildings are being operated without parking. What action has been taken by the then office bearers of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee on how many illegal floors have been constructed opposite to the map and What is the Current Status?

After the map passed by which officer, which buildings have given the approval of the new floor for the construction of the additional floor, the complete investigation report of that building, in which the report along with the set back and other mandatory documents, the architect responsible for deviation and illegal construction on such a large scale  and what action has been taken so far on the engineer of JNAC  under the Jharkhand Building Construction Rules and Municipal Act and on the report submitted by the then principal secretary of the Urban Development Department Arun Singh.

The investigation report mentions the current status along with the complete list of illegal buildings which have been constructed without getting the map passed.
