Vacancies in education, forest and home department
Ranchi, June 7: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today indicated of windfall of employment opportunities in key government departments.
During a review meeting of the home department, school education and literacy department and forest department at Ranchi, the chief minister directed expediting the process of filling vacancies in all these departments as a topmost priority.
According to a release issued by CM’s secretariat, the recruitment process for 13473 Home Department, 38000 School Education and Literacy Department and 4051 Forest Department vacancies would have to be completed at the earliest leading to filling up of over 55,000 vacancies.

The Chief Minister said that the requisition should be sent to the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) within a month, removing all the hurdles and discrepancies in the appointment rules in these three departments.
The Chief Minister said that the state government was committed to fill up all the departmental vacancies expeditiously.
“Try to publish the advertisement by removing all the discrepancies related to the appointment rules and roster for this purpose as soon as possible for the selection of vacant posts in the departments,” said Soren in a high-level meeting held at the Jharkhand Secretariat today.
In the meeting, the departmental officers placed detailed information about the vacancies of different categories in front of the Chief Minister. There are 13473 vacancies of Home Department, 38000 of School Education and Literacy Department and 4051 vacancies of different categories of Forest Department was given to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister directed the officials to expedite the recruitment process for all these posts at the earliest. The Chief Minister said that with the start of the appointment, maximum opportunities would be given to the youth of the state and the vacant posts in the concerned departments would be filled immediately.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary Forest, L.Khyangte, DGP Neeraj Sinha, principal secretary home department Rajiv Arun Ekka, principal secretary personnel Department Vandana Dadel, finance department principal Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh, secretary, School Education and Literacy Rajesh Sharma and other senior officials.
