Prabhakar Rao re-elected Secretary, Deepak Verma President
Hazaribagh, Feb 16: The Jharkhand Badminton Association (JBA) held its Executive Body & Annual General Meeting (AGM) on February 16, 2025, in Hazaribagh, electing new office bearers to lead the organization’s efforts in developing badminton across the state.
In the elections, Prabhakar Rao was re-elected as the State Secretary, reaffirming his leadership and vision for the sport. Deepak Kumar Verma was elected as the President, while Suresh Lal Ram took charge as the Treasurer.
The newly formed executive committee pledged to enhance badminton infrastructure, implement structured training programs, and increase opportunities for young players to compete at national and international levels. They emphasized their commitment to fostering talent and strengthening Jharkhand’s presence in the Indian badminton circuit.
With renewed leadership, the Jharkhand Badminton Association aims to advance the sport’s reach and nurture promising players, ensuring a bright future for badminton in the state.
