Jamshedpur, May 10: Loyola Colts registered a comfortable seven-wicket victory over NCC in JSCA Jamshedpur B Division League final match played at Keenan Stadium on Sunday.
After winning the toss, Loyola Colts elected to bowl first. Batting first, NCC scored 86 for 3 in 28 overs. Shankar Das was the top scorer for NCC with 31 runs off 67 balls, including three boundaries. For Loyola Colts, Santosh Singh delivered an impressive spell, taking one wicket for 14 runs in six overs, while Bhola Prasad Singh also claimed one wicket.
In reply, Loyola Colts chased down the target with ease, scoring 87 for 3 in just 12.1 overs. Dular Chand Mahto played a match-winning knock of 54 runs off 37 balls, hitting nine fours and one six. Arihant Singh picked up one wicket for NCC.
Dular Chand Mahto was named the Player of the Match for his brilliant batting performance.
Match officials included Sujit Kumar and Rajeev Kumar, while Subham Ojha served as scorer. Parvez Khan, Victor Joseph, B. Rama Rao, D. Uma Rao, and Bhola Prasad also graced the event.
