Jamshedpur, Nov 9:Â In an unfortunate incident on Thursday afternoon near Kadma market under Kadma police station in Jamshedpur, a speeding bike collided with a scooter, resulting in severe injuries to the scooter rider, Dev Narayan Sao, a resident of Kadma Shastri Nagar Block No. 1. The impact of the collision left Sao in critical condition, and he was rushed to TMH for urgent medical treatment.
Local residents at the scene reacted strongly, assaulting the young man riding the Pulsar bike. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived, took the bike rider into custody, and transported him to the police station.
Mantu Sao, the injured’s brother-in-law, provided details of the incident, stating that Dev Narayan Sao was on his way to the tent house from Kadma market when the bike rider struck him while crossing the main road.
The collision resulted in a serious head injury for Sao, who began vomiting, prompting a swift transfer to the hospital by auto. Reports suggest that the bike rider may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
