Jamshedpur: In a gesture aimed at improving healthcare accessibility in rural areas, Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi has gifted a state-of-the-art ambulance to the residents of 8 panchayats. The ambulance, equipped with essential medical facilities, was officially handed over at Simuldanga Chowk of Deoghar Panchayat under the Jamshedpur block.

Addressing the gathering during the inauguration ceremony, MLA Mangal Kalindi highlighted the increased incidents of accidents along the Dimna to Pipla highway, underscoring the urgent need for better emergency medical services in the region. The dedicated ambulance is expected to alleviate the challenges faced in transporting patients to hospitals swiftly.

To ensure the smooth operation of the ambulance service, an operational committee comprising local representatives has been established. The event, chaired by Ghasi Ram Singh and moderated by Deepak Ranjit, was attended by village heads, along with prominent social and political figures from the area.
