Laborer dies under mysterious circumstances at BMW Industries Ltd Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 16: A laborer was reported dead under suspicious circumstances at BMW Industries Limited in Phase-2 of the Industrial Area under Adityapur police station, Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

According to the available information, the deceased laborer was identified as Shankar Prasad, a resident of Madhubani district in Bihar. Reports suggested that on Saturday, Shankar Prasad suddenly collapsed unconscious while working on the company premises. He was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for medical treatment, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

While the exact cause of Shankar Prasad’s demise remained unconfirmed, speculations were rife that he might have succumbed to a heat stroke. It was also reported that the deceased laborer worked as a JCB operator at the industrial unit.

The mysterious circumstances surrounding Shankar Prasad’s death raised concerns, with both the company management and the police remaining tight-lipped about the incident. Calls for a thorough investigation into the matter grew louder, as questions regarding the safety measures and working conditions at the industrial unit lingered unanswered.
