Jamshedpur: Update Aadhar issued before 2014 before March 2023

Jamshedpur, Dec 19: A meeting of the district level Aadhaar Vigilance Committee was held at the Jamshedpur Collectorate auditorium on Monday. It was chaired by Saurabh Sinha, Director, DRDA. He said the Aadhaar cards issued before the year 2014 should be updated before March 2023 or else the same would become inactive.

Sinha discussed various other issues pertaining to issuance and updation of Aadhaar cards in the district. He said there are a total of 160 Aadhaar centres in the district whose monitoring should be done by the officials concerned. He said Aadhaar is an important document which ensures benefits of various welfare schemes to all citizens.
