Jamshedpur, Aug 22: District BJP general secretary Rakesh Singh Monday criticized city traffic police after one Nitish Thakur of Radhikanagar was injured near Telco Plaza.
“Nitish Thakur was being allegedly chased by traffic cops when he fell into a deep drain and got critically injured. This is a dangerous working style of traffic police. They should not terrorize people in the name of making citizens comply with the traffic rules. Police should not resort to such objectionable means of prosecuting traffic offenders,” said Singh.
The BJP leader blamed the traffic cops for the injury caused to Nitish Thakur.
