Jamshedpur, Aug 22: City police arrested 13 criminals in connection with 10 separate crimes committed across the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar said Jadugora police had arrested the accused persons in connection with the murder of one Love Mandal of Kovali and numerous other crimes.
Those arrested were identified as Vrindavan, Raj Reddy, Krishna Mandal, Mitali Mandal, Maheshwar Kaivart, Vibha Kaivart, Suresh Kaivart and Rajesh Kaivart.
The SSP said the accused persons had also snatched gold chain from a woman in Kalikapur and committed loot crimes and murder in Mosabani. Two more criminals will soon be arrested in connection with these crimes, he said.
Police also seized cash worth Rs 10,500 from the possession of the accused persons.
