Jamshedpur to host Tiranga Yatra on March 23 in martyrs’ memory

Jamshedpur, March 12: A meeting was held at social organization, ‘Naman’s’ Sakchi office to discuss and finalize the Tiranga Yatra that will be organized on Wednesday, March 23 to commemorate the Martyrdom Day of revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru who were hung to death by the British regime on that date. The organizers estimated the participation of thousands of persons during this tri-colour march (Tiranga Yatra).

Naman founder and social activist, Amarpreet Singh Kale observed, “The enthusiastic participation of people in patriotic programmes such as the Tiranga Yatra reflects the collective spirit and sense of attachment of Jamshedpur citizens towards martyrs who gifted their lives so that the Motherland and her children (Indians) could breathe the air of freedom. This unique unity of the people reflects that they are ever-prepared to rise against any threat to the country and her people and give a befitting reply.” Chief Patron of Naman, Brij Bhushan Singh offered the vote of thanks.
