Jamshedpur: Tinplate Company employees to get 20 per cent bonus plus Rs 5000

Jamshedpur, Sep 9: The annual bonus agreement for the financial year 2021-22 was signed between Tinplate Company management and Golmuri Tinplate Workers Union here on Friday. It was decided to give 20 per cent bonus plus a goodwill amount of Rs 5000. As per the agreement, 60 per cent weightage was given to profitability, 30 per cent weightage to productivity and 10 per cent weightage to safety.

Altogether 935 employees would be benefitted from the bonus agreement. Old grade employees would get a maximum bonus of Rs 81,616 and a minimum of Rs 33,743. NS Grade employees would get Rs 60,843 and Rs 18,459 as maximum and minimum bonus respectively, sources said.

The agreement was signed by MD RN Murty, union president Rakeshwar Pandey, VP Santosh Antony, GM Works Dr S Dey, Chief Finance Rajeev Kumar Choudhary, Chief Medical Dr Rekha Singh Ganguly, DGM (HRM) Harjeet Singh, union vice president Parvinder Singh Sohal, union general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and vice president Satnam Singh among others.
