Jamshedpur, Sep 9: A meeting of Tata Steel PF Trustee was convened on Friday. It was led by Tata Steel MD and CEO TV Narendran and attended by Chief Parth Basu, Head Shahzad Kaiser from the management side and Joginder Singh, Amod Dubey and Manoj Mishra from the union side, sources said.
The trustees accorded a warm welcome to Narendran and congratulated him for the historic bonus agreement. They lauded him for providing unprecedented bonus benefits to the employees.
During the meeting, concern was expressed on the growing number of employees availing PF loans after Covid-19. It was found that the number of such employees was the highest at the Kalinganagar plant of Tata Steel. It was also found that many people were also taking housing loans. It was decided to make the employees aware so that the PF Trust does not suffer its consequences, sources said.
