Jamshedpur: Telco D Road to Sabuj Kalyan Sangh area cordoned off for expansion

Jamshedpur, July 23: The area from Telco D Road to Sabuj Kalyan Sangh has been cleared and cordoned off to make way for parking chassis, as part of Tata Motors’ expansion plans. Initially, hydrogen engine chassis will be placed in the area, with further plans to expand the Tata Motors plant potentially leading to the shifting of the main road.

There is also a proposal to relocate the D Road Durga Puja, traditionally held there, to the vacant space behind Sabuj Kalyan Sangh near Telco Police Station. However, the exact new location for the Durga Puja has yet to be finalized. Negotiations are ongoing, with Central Durga Puja Committee General Secretary Rambabu Singh indicating that respectful dialogue will be used to find a solution. Tata Motors management has stated that the current cordon is in place, but the exact plans for the site remain unclear.
