JNAC to form team to take action against map deviators
Jamshedpur, March : Administration will initiate strict action against encroachers on government land.
At a meeting chaired by East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav at Jamshedpur district collectorate, several important guidelines were given regarding to prevent land encroachment under Tata lease area.
An in-depth review was done on the number of encroachment cases pending in which zone.
Instructions were given to identify 10 such major encroachments of government land/Tata leased land in the city, which are obstructing the implementation of any kind of development work. Information about the progress in the action taken against those who deviated from the map was taken from the special officer of JNAC.

The Special Officer JNAC Sanjay Kumar said that till now 124 construction works done by deviating the map have been identified in the investigation and four teams have been constituted for investigation.
While taking action against 18 people, fine was collected and all concerned have also been given notice to demolish illegal constructions. The Deputy Commissioner instructed to inform while ensuring proper action in the next three days.
The deputy commissioner informed that complaints are being received through various mediums about the construction work being done in violation of the building plan, JNAC should take major action in this.
She suggested that list of map deviators should be divided region-wise and additional teams should be formed to initiate action against deviators. Electricity and water connections of those who deviate from the map should be cut.
There was also discussion on making vending zones in the city. SDO Dhalbhum Piyush Sinha was instructed to mark the no vending zone and inform the representative of Tata Land department after selecting the site of the vending zone.
