Jamshedpur, July 28: The Interact Club of Sheyn International School in association with Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City, organized a poster making competition among students of Stds VI to X to mark the World Nature Conservation Day celebrations. The occasion was aimed to create awareness on the need to preserve the environment and natural resources in order to keep the world healthy. The posters were themed on methods of nurturing and conserving nature.
The three best posters selected were made by Devshree Salin Sinku of Std VIII who bagged the 1st prize followed by Swarnabha Paul and Annanya Shankar, both of Std IX taking home the second and third prizes respectively. The trophies for the three winners were presented by the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City.
The Principal, Vice Principal and Headmistress of the school congratulated the winners and motivated the children to protect nature and their surroundings.
