NHES students distribute paper bags on Nature Conservation Day

Jamshedpur, July 28: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated World Nature Conservation Day on Thursday, July 28. Students of NHES took various initiatives for preserving the environment and natural resources. Plastic pollution has become one of the most pressing environmental issues. NHES students organised an awareness drive against use of plastic bags along with paper bags distribution. The paper bags made by the students were distributed among the shopkeepers, vegetable vendors and fruit sellers in the local market. They appreciated the endeavour undertaken by the school. Students were also encouraged to plant saplings, participate in slogan writing competition on environment and prepare bird feeders.
