Jamshedpur Rapido: One arrested in Jugsalai mobile loot case

Jamshedpur, May 30: Three criminals reportedly looted the mobile phone of a Rapido biker near Hotel Ashoka in Jugsalai in the wee hours of 28th May last.

Police arrested one of the culprits and recovered the looted mobile phone here on Monday. They said the criminals had booked the bike ride at Tatanagar railway station by posing as passengers. The victim Rapido driver, Raju Namta, took the three accused near Raj Hotel and demanded the fair. The accused persons instead of paying the fair, took Namta towards the railway tracks and snatched his mobile after thrashing him, cops said.

Police officials said Akash is named in nine cases lodged in Parsudih, Sundernagar, Bagbera, Bistupur, Seraikela and RIT police station areas.
