Jamshedpur, April 23: In a remarkable electoral feat, senior advocate Rajesh Kumar Shukla has scripted history by winning a third consecutive term in the Jharkhand State Bar Council elections.
Widely respected across the legal fraternity, his victory underscores both his enduring popularity and professional credibility.
Shukla crossed the benchmark figure of 676.55 votes during the elimination round held on Thursday, firmly establishing his lead.
With three more elimination rounds yet to follow, his margin is expected to swell further, potentially setting a new record.
His triumph has drawn widespread acclaim from prominent members of the bar, including T.N. Ojha, Ramjeet Pandey, Sudhir Kumar ‘Pappu’, Akshay Jha, Mithilesh Singh Gautam, and Kulwinder Singh, all of whom extended their congratulations.
According to Sudhir Kumar ‘Pappu’, Shukla’s consistent success stems from his humility, integrity, and affable nature—qualities that have earned him support from bar associations across the state.
Akshay Jha, a key member of his campaign team, noted that the overwhelming goodwill and encouragement received during the campaign across the Jharkhand High Court and various bar associations had already signaled an inevitable victory.
