Jamshedpur, Dec 14: East Singhbhum district administration has given approval to the city police to prosecute 36 criminals under Arms Act. Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav has given approval for prosecution on the recommendation of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar. The criminals include Kanhaiya Singh, associated with Akhilesh Singh. Now the police will be able to prosecute the criminals in the various courts of the city.
Earlier the DC had given approval for prosecuting several criminals under Jharkhand Crime Control Act. Two criminals Saurabh Dalai and Gajanand Singh alias Mohit Singh were expelled from the limits of the district under Tadipaar proceedings. The Tadipaar period of four other criminals was also extended for three months.
