Jamshedpur, Oct 19: In a remarkable display of determination and efficiency, the Jamshedpur Police have successfully cleared 1088 pending warrants in just 10 days under the leadership of SSP Kishore Kaushal. The initiative to expedite the resolution of pending cases was prompted by a meeting held by SSP Kaushal with police station officers in the city.
During the meeting, it was revealed that as of October 1, there were 2209 pending warrants across the 17 police stations in the urban area. SSP Kaushal promptly instructed all police station officers to prioritize the resolution of these cases. To motivate and recognize the hardworking officers, awards will be given to those who perform exceptionally, while officers who dispose of less than 30 percent of their pending cases will be issued show cause notices.
Ulidih OP, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Sonu Kumar, emerged as a shining example of efficiency by resolving an impressive 68 percent of the pending warrants by October 16. The top-performing police stations in this endeavor include Sonari with 61 percent, Govindpur with 60 percent, Birsanagar and Bistupur both at 57 percent, and Burma Mines at 55 percent.
On the other end of the spectrum, Sitaramdera police station lagged behind with only 15 percent of cases resolved. Kadma and Golmuri were also among the lower performers, with 23 percent and 20 percent respectively.
SSP Kaushal Kishore’s commitment to tightening the noose on criminals and ensuring justice is swiftly delivered has been evident in this rapid progress towards clearing pending warrants. The efforts of these dedicated officers serve as a testament to the city’s commitment to upholding the law and order.
