Jamshedpur: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Regional Office Jamshedpur, has urged 8,394 pensioners from East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts to submit their Jeevan Pramaan Patra (Digital Life Certificate) at the earliest. These pensioners, covered under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and Family Pension Scheme, 1971, had their pensions halted in May 2025 due to non-submission of certificates.

All affected pensioners were previously notified via SMS. The EPFO emphasized that timely submission of the Jeevan Pramaan Patra would ensure the uninterrupted release of monthly pension.

Pensioners can now conveniently submit their Digital Life Certificate online from home. The EPFO clarified that there was no longer a requirement to visit a bank or office. The obligation to submit the certificate only in November each year has also been lifted. The certificate can be updated in any month of the year. To submit the Jeevan Pramaan Patra digitally, pensioners were advised to download two apps from the Google Play Store namely Aadhaar Face RD App and Jeevan Pramaan App.

The EPFO continued to release periodic newspaper advertisements to inform and assist pensioners with the process.
