Jamshedpur, June 13: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) expressed deep sorrow over the tragic plane crash that occurred in Gujarat, claiming the lives of numerous passengers and injuring several others.
Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. He said the Chamber was deeply shocked by the devastating incident in which an Air India flight bound for London, carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members, caught fire shortly after takeoff from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad and crashed into the premises of B.J. Medical College.
“The Chamber offers prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives and wishes speedy recovery for the injured students, staff of the college, and residents of the nearby buildings,” Moonka said.
Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and take necessary preventive measures to avoid such tragedies in future.
Other Chamber office bearers including Rajiv Agarwal, Puneet Kauntia, Bharat Makani, Anshul Ringasia, Binod Sharma, and Anil Ringasia also expressed their grief and extended prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
