Jamshedpur: Murder accused acquitted 

Jamshedpur, April 15: The Jamshedpur court has acquitted 11 accused, including Vikas Singh, Sonu Singh Siyal, who were arrested in the Arms Act case in Sonari.

First Class Judicial Magistrate Saudamini Singh, who is hearing the case, has acquitted all due to lack of evidence. In this case Sonari police arrested Vikas Singh alias Hete, Sonu Singh alias Sial, Sujit Gorai, Anda Raju, Guddu Goswami, Panchu Gorai, Santosh Gope, Krishna Gorai, Santosh Gorai, Sunny Karmakar and Diwakar Seet in Arms Act case.

 A total of five people testified in this case. Advocates Rakesh Prasad and Srishti Debuka argued on behalf of the accused in the case.

In May 2018, Abhay Giri was shot and injured by unknown scooty-riding criminals near Sonari’s Kagalnagar road number 7. Abhay had died during treatment. In this case, the police had arrested the accused Vikas Singh Hete and Sujit Gorai. In this case, the police had registered a case of Arms Act, making other people also accused. The case of murder of Abhay Giri is going on separately in the court.
