Jamshedpur MP Bidyut raises railway users issues at railway divisional meet 

Jamshedpur, September 9: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato attended the meeting of the divisional committee MPs of Kharagpur and Adra railway divisions under South Eastern Railway at Kolkata. 

All the MPs of both the divisions raised the issue of their respective areas prominently and it was discussed in detail in the presence of senior railway officials. In the course of the meeting today, the important issues which Jamshedpur MP had sent to the zonal office were discussed. The prominent demands include building an underbridge near Chatrodobha village of Chakulia. He said that the reply of the Railways is not satisfactory. This demand has been rejected on technical grounds but it is absolutely necessary to address it. 

He also stressed for making Ghatshila railway station more convenient and said that there is no proper passenger facilities available in the waiting hall, it needs to be rectified at the earliest. Construction of Railway halt near Badkola, Budhamara of Chakulia block and demanded the construction of a new railway line from Baharagora to Bangriposi Odisha.

 Apart from this, the demand for stoppage of Howrah Kurla Express and Hatia Howrah Express at Chakulia railway station was raised and said that it is very necessary to take a quick decision on this.

MP Shri Mahto also said that the name of Chakulia railway station was also written there in Bengali language, which has been erased in recent times, due to which Bengali speakers are very much hurt, hence the name of Chakulia railway station in Bangla language again on the railway station. be marked.

Jamshedpur MP said that the entire Jaynagar Express passes through Kharagpur. It should be run through Tatanagar so that people living in Tatanagar and surrounding Mithilanchal area can directly connect to Darbhanga and Jayanagar.

He also demanded boarding facility at Kharagpur railway station in Howrah Bengaluru Duronto Express. He said that if this facility is provided, it will directly benefit a large number of students going to Bangalore as well as others and Jamshedpur and nearby people will be able to avail this service from Kharagpur.

There were demands to increase the frequency of Shalimar Gorakhpur Express train at least twice a week so that the people of Uttar Pradesh can get proper connectivity.

MP also said that construction of Kandra-Namkum railway line is very important in the public interest, so attention should be given to it. He also stressed for the construction of 132 km railway line up to Jhargram via Chandil, Nimdih, Bodam, Patmada, Katin, Bandwan.
Apart from this, the construction work of railway overbridge in Govindpur and Barigoda which has been interrupted for a long time and urged for re-survey.
