Jamshedpur, Sep 9: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organised health checkup camp in Tirildih village, Seraikela on Friday. The camp was held in association with Brahmanand Multispeciality Hospital.
More than 70 villagers had their body weight, height, blood pressure, blood sugar tests done. Hemoglobin and breast cancer screening test was also done for 50 women in the camp.
Medicines were provided to all the villagers as per doctor’s advice. Folic acid and Iron tablets were provided to all the women who were detected with low Hemoglobin.
Along with health check-up, women were also made aware about the risk of breast cancer.
Club President Nibha Mishra thanked the doctors and technicians for their cooperation.
Club secretary Gurpreet Kaur Bhatia, Director for health, Varsha Gandhi, Tirildih project director, Rishi Chandrani and others were present.
