Jamshedpur, May 26: The ongoing feud between Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta and Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has escalated, with Roy alleging a conspiracy orchestrated by Gupta. Roy claimed that during the Lok Sabha elections, attempts were made to send him to jail at the behest of Minister Banna Gupta.

According to Roy, a DSP was assigned to investigate the case, and despite evidence implicating Minister Alamgir Alam in corruption, he was given a clean chit. Roy has now taken the matter to the DGP, prompting a DIG-led investigation.

Furthermore, Roy has announced his intention to approach the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding corruption allegations within the Health Department. He highlighted the discovery of large sums of money at Minister Alamgir’s servant’s residence, suggesting potential corruption. Roy asserted that if the ED investigates Gupta’s property, substantial assets may be uncovered, particularly in Baharagora, where the Health Minister allegedly owns property worth crores.

Despite Gupta’s alleged conspiracy failing, Roy remains determined to address the situation and seek justice.
