Jamshedpur, March 2: A six year-old boy, identified as Punit Mukhi, got seriously injured after falling from the terrace of his house in Bhalubasa Harijan Basti under Sitaramdera police station area on Wednesday.
Sources said the mishap occurred around 10 am when the child was playing on the terrace with his elder brother Chhotu Mukhi. While playing, Punit came dangerously close to the edge of the terrace without a boundary wall and fell down, sustaining serious head and limb injuries, sources said.
The child was taken to MGM Hospital where his condition was reportedly serious.
