Jamshedpur: Demand for safe return of Indian students from Ukraine

Jamshedpur, March 2: In view of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Jharkhand Ekta Morcha has urged the country’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to take appropriate steps to bring back the students trapped in Ukraine to India safely. As per directives of the Morcha’s Central President Aftab Khan, a delegation submitted a memorandum to the effect addressed to Prime Minister Modi to the Deputy Commissioner. Union Secretary Rinku Singh, who led the delegation, said that hundreds of Indian students were still stuck in Ukraine and the concern of their parents had increased. He said, “The families would be much relieved on their children’s safe return to the country.”
