Western disturbance expected to affect Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jan 29: The impact of the Northwest Disturbance is anticipated to be felt in Jharkhand once again, leading to cloudy conditions starting from Tuesday. The weather forecast also predicts rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Dr. Abhishek Anand, a meteorologist at the Ranchi Center, reported that in the last 24 hours, Chaibasa recorded the highest maximum temperature at 28.4 degrees Celsius, while Garhwa recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 7.3 degrees Celsius. On Monday, the minimum temperature in Ranchi was 9.4 degrees Celsius, in Jamshedpur, it was 11.7 degrees Celsius, and in Chaibasa, it was 10.6 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department has released a forecast for the next five days, indicating the impact of the Western Disturbance in North India on Jharkhand. Rainfall is expected in the state on January 31 and February 1, with a cloudy sky on January 30. Additionally, the minimum temperature is expected to increase over the next three to four days.
The districts receiving alerts for possible rain include East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela Kharsawan, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Ramgarh. On February 1, rainfall is expected in Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahebganj, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Ramgarh. The weather is predicted to clear up from February 2 onward.
