Jamshedpur lad Jai Mishra who never looked back after Shaktimaan’s Ghosh Babu comes to town with ‘3 Shyaane’

Jamshedpur, May 19: Jai Mishra, the city lad and Bagbera Colony resident, Jai Mishra has been climbing the popularity chart as an actor in several Bollywood serials but people still remember him as Ghosh Babu in the mega serial, Shaktimaan. Dedicated, hard-working, Jai has never let success go to his head and still remains an epitome of humility. He has portrayed several types of characters in his thus far brilliant career as an actor much above the ordinary. He has also made forays into the celluloid domain and his latest, ‘3 Shyaane’ will hit screens all over the country on Friday, May 20. In Jamshedpur,  at PJP Cinepolis. He is playing a comedy character in the movie. His name in the movie is ‘Atthanni’ and the name itself raises more than a giggle. He acts as a beggar chasing the hero, DFev Sharma of ‘Yarian’ fame.

`3 Shyaane’ is the tale of three young men who dream of become rich overnight. They do not hesitate to do any work so that with the money they earn, they can live a life of fun and lavishness. But the narrative of ‘3 Shyaane’ takes a bend where they come face-to-face with reality when they realize that only hard work and honestly earned money works in real life.

Jai Mishra is a resident of Bagbera Colony but has made Mumbai his working address. He was groomed through theatre and has worked with several directors leaving his mark in his drama portrayals, standout among them being Mahesh, Court Martial, Haye Badan, to name a few.

 His performance in the mega serial ‘Shaktimaan’ as Ghosh Babu made him a household name. His role of Munimji in the serial ‘Balika Badhu’, and his lead roles in other serials like ‘Nai Soch’, ‘Baatein Ankahi Si,’ ‘Chanda Meri Behna’, ‘Sautela’ and several others made him a director’s favourite.

Jai got the celluloid break with the Bengali ‘Boumuni’ starring Munmun Sen and the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee. He made essays in films like ‘Vidyarthi,’ ‘Dhurandhar,’ ‘Masti Nahin Sasti,’ and several others. ‘3 Shyaane‘ will be followed up with his next assignments that include ‘Shaktimaan’ (celluloid version) produced by Sony Pictures, ‘My Dad’s Wedding’ and a short film on OTT platform ‘Agantuk.’

Jai Mishra is also going to play his role in Sony Pictures’ film – Shaktimaan, which is going to be made on Shaktimaan. And apart from this, his upcoming film – ‘My Dad Wedding’, is an upcoming shot film on OTT – ‘Agantuk’.0

‘3 Shayane’ has been produced by Sanjay Sutankar and directed by Anish Baroodwala. The cinematographer is the popular Bharat Parthasarathi. The famed Chinni Prakash has choreographed the dance sequences.
