Jamshedpur, May 3: An altercation stemming from an old dispute among youths unfolded near KD Flat in the Kadma police station area of Jamshedpur on Friday morning, leaving two Kadma residents injured. Both injured individuals, identified as Devashish Singh and Ajay Chhatar, were promptly admitted to MGM Hospital for medical treatment.
Devashish, one of the injured parties, recounted a prior dispute with a young man named Abhishek on the occasion of Ram Navami, which had been resolved through reconciliation. However, on Friday, Abhishek, accompanied by four associates named Pawan, Rohit, Amit, and Bobby, allegedly launched an attack on Devashish and Ajay using a hockey stick and a brick.
The injured victims have filed a complaint at the police station, prompting an investigation into the matter by the authorities.
