Jamshedpur: Kross Ltd. workers protest for wages as per Govt standards

Jamshedpur: Workers of Kross Limited Company on Saturday blocked the company gate and held protest to press in their demands including bonus, payment of wages at government rates, and timely disbursement of salaries.

Around 70 contract workers from unit 4 of the company on strike handed over a memorandum and accused the company’s HR Vinod Arya of misconduct.

According to the protesting workers stated that they had requested an 8.33% bonus which was rejected by the HR and were told that they could leave their job if they wanted bonus.

According to the memorandum, the company did not pay their wages as per government rates nor is their salaries on time.

The protesting contract workers also added that the company had promised to give them a hike last year but their demands were not fulfilled but they continued working hoping for a change.
