Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Shanti Yagna at Jugsalai Shani Dev Mandir

Jamshedpur, May 30:  Jharkhand Shani Shanti Yagna was organized at the Jugsalai Shani Dev Mandir on Satyanarayan Mandir Road. The prayers were conducted under the supervision and guidance of Damodar Shani Baba on Monday 30th May on the auspicious occasion of Amavasya, Navgrah Puja and Havan commenced at 7:30 am, and continued till 6 pm. Hawan Puja was performed between 5pm and 6 pm.

 The distribution of  consecrated food (Prasad) started at 11 am, which lasted till 5 pm. More than 4,000 devotees attended the prayers and Hawan. In which more than four thousand people took Prasad. The prayer rituals were performed by 11 pundits led by Pandit Ashok Sharma and Pandit Gyani Sharma. Devotees took the blessings of Lord Shani Maharaj. Those present on the occasion included former MLA Menka Sardar, social worker Sudipto De Rana, Suman Singh, Vimal Agarwal, Bari Murmu, Manoj Puria, Nandkishore Thakur, Rajan Sonkar, Bablu Kushwaha and others. Mahant Damodar Baba, Ashok Sharma, Gyani Sharma, Soni Sharma, Nandkishore Thakur contributed towards organizing this auspicious programme.
