Jamshedpur, Sept 16: Team Youth Unity for Voluntary Action (YUVA) in association with KRIYA organized a football training camp for girls. Twenty girls from 10 panchayats under Potka Block participated in the training camp where they learnt the various techniques of the game from experienced coaches. These girls expressed their determination to teach other girls in their community to participate in sports. They vowed to eradicate the gender divide and together participate in every sphere of activity.
YUVA founder Arvind Tiwari and the Head of Tantala Panchayat, Amrit Majhi encouraged the girls to excel in sports.
The football training camp for girls was organized by YUVA members Anjana Devgam, Chandmani Savaiya, Chandrakala Munda, Rila Sardar and Avanti Sardar.
