Jamshedpur, Sept 16: The ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Sri-Sri Sarvajanin Durga Puja Samiti of ECC Flats in Kadma was performed on Saturday, September 16, amidst chanting of sacred verses.
The Executive President of the Samiti, Dharmendra Sonkar informed that Durga Puja was being organized by the Committee since the past 30 years. “As always, our focus will be on universal wellbeing. We have been receiving tremendous cooperation from all the colony residents and that is our motivation.”
Samiti President Amit Dubey mentioned that this year’s pandal would be designed in the form of a mythical temple. “Attractive décor including light decorations will mark the beauty of our pandal. Prasad will be distributed on each day of the Puja. The immersion ceremony too will be attractive.”
Samiti members present during the ground breaking ceremony included Shankar Paswan, Deepak, Aman Rajak, Sanki Singh, Vijay Das, Shekhar Barua, Manish Singh, Kunal Kumar Ray, Harshit, Hemant Kumar, Raj Majhi, Aman Verma, Nandan Kumar and others.
